Duncan has been the best instructor you could ask for, so much so that I will miss our lessons. The is personable, good natured and honest. Always felt happy and safe. He was so helpful even moving around his own calendar to get driving time in before a last minute test. Thank you Duncan!

Great instructer and very calm highly recommend

We booked a short notice test in Northallerton for our son Angus because it's so difficult to get one in Scotland where we live. We weren't sure if we would find an instructor but Duncan came to his rescue. We're delighted that Angus passed, which could not have happened without Duncan's help.
It is testament to Duncan's teaching ability that he could get someone through the test who had never been to Northallerton before and only had two days to get familiar with the area before the test.
We were very lucky to find Duncan and can't thank him enough for his support.

Duncan was amazing from day one, being extremely welcoming and supportive and making me feel as comfortable as possible. He is a phenomenal teacher and helped me in every driving lesson with extensive experience and knowledge behind him, He is the only choice for an instructor. It’s been a long journey, but I’m so grateful we went through it together with Duncan! Duncan was an absolute legend of a driving instructor. Even though I live in London, he kindly agreed to take me on for lessons in Knaresborough due to the test backlog—and I’m so glad he did. He was always kind, patient, and brought a great sense of humour to every lesson, which really helped calm my nerves. Duncan’s teaching style is clear, supportive, and effective—he explains everything in a way that just clicks. I felt confident and well-prepared going into my test, all thanks to him. What a great guy! I only had a small amount of lessons with Duncan to help get me over the line and pass my test, not only did he play a huge part in me passing first time but also improved my driving ability in the process giving easy to understand feedback and staying calm when something didn’t go right.
